Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation- Quality of Life Grant- 1st Cycle 2008

The Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation funded a mechanical lift to offer safety and dignity to riders being transferred from the ramp to the horse. Volunteers Steve, Keith, Dave and Barb assembled the custom designed unit to work in conjunction with the mounting ramp. The horses adjusted quickly to the motion and sound of the mechanical features. The staff and horses all echo the sentiments of the riders who used the life, "Yee-Haw!"
